City of Gweru has been actively involved in not only notifying it’s residents of water schedules throughout the city but it has been at the forefront of encouraging residents to use water sparingly.
The Acting Town Clerk, Mr V D Chikwekwe said, “the City has made use of it’s digital platforms such as Whatsapp where daily updates on water are posted hence letting the public know the level of the efficiency of water pumping for the day Updates on burst sewer pumps are also created and shared on these platforms”. Mr Chikwekwe said , residents are continuously urged to take note of the daily updates.
